Virtual Twin Experience - MBSE and Requirements in Industrial Equipment

With the changing market demands and the need to deliver personalized products more rapidly than ever, Industrial Equipment companies must provide Smart and flexible products. Their ability to make the right choices on equipment, line architecture, and process very early in the decision-making process decides the success of the projects.

With the demand for personalized products and growing product complexity, manufacturers need a clear understanding of the requirements and to master complex architecture. They must ensure collaboration across cross disciplines and full traceability from needs identification to product verification.

Webinar Highlights:

  • IE Business Challenges and Drivers for MBSE

  • Industry Solution Experience Portfolio

  • Requirements and System Architecture

  • Verification-Validation and trade analysis at the architecture level with multi-discipline simulations

  • End to End tractability from requirements to architecture to 3D model

She has leveraged her knowledge and expertise to serve a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense, Transportation and Mobility, Life Sciences, and others.

In her current role, she is responsible for educating, demonstrating, inspiring and supporting solutions on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.

Philippe Delannoy - Industry Solution Experience Director, Industrial Equipment - Dassault Systèmes

Philippe joined Dassault Systèmes as Industry Solution Experience Director in 2014. He holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and in Mechanical Engineering from ENSTA Bretagne, France. He started his career in the United States as a Graduate Research Assistant at ASDL (Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory) in Atlanta, GA where he demonstrated technology evaluation and robust design simulation techniques to AIRBUS.

He then returned to France and entered the automotive industry as a PLM Consultant deploying Dassault Systèmes’ Solutions for PSA, ARO S.A.S. (world leader in welding equipment), and later spent 6 years as the Worldwide PLM Coordinator for the chassis brakes division of the Robert BOSCH Group. Maintaining the strategic view of PLM, he was responsible for the brake design teams and then for performance & NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) testing in Europe.

As he has always been a business process and business intelligence oriented, Philippe was a natural fit for the position of Industry Solution Experience Director at Dassault Systèmes—this time in a new field: Industrial Equipment. In this role, he is focused on accelerating global multi-disciplinary collaboration to engineering and manufacturing teams everywhere and integrating virtual & physical testing into a smart and flexible qualification process. Now largely focused on the tire manufacturing segment, Philippe is responsible for the development of a dedicated solution to transform tire manufacturers into sustainable mobility providers: SMARTYRE.
