When it is necessary to "undo" the differentiation, the process is called integration. The operation of integration is denoted by the symbol: ò dx The integrals of some functions are difficult to compute directly from first principle. This table represents a partial list of such functions and their derivatives are often found directly from the tables. They are part of the many standard formulas in calculus.
