Mr. Anderton was formerly editor of Canadian Metalworking Magazine and has contributed to a wide range of print and on-line publications, including Design Engineering, Canadian Plastics, Service Station and Garage Management, Autovision, and the National Post. He also brings prior industry experience in quality and part design for a Tier One automotive supplier.

Roopinder Tara is Director of Content for ENGINEERING.com. He has been into CAD, CAM and CAE for his entire professional life, as an engineer, CAD manager, professor and publisher. He has written numerous publications on CAD, design and engineering. He has a bachelors in mechanical engineering (Drexel University), a masters in engineering science (Penn State) and has been a certified professional engineer. Jeffrey Heimgartner has more than 20 years of experience in the computer-aided drafting and design field. He manages the Lincoln, Nebraska-based drafting and design firm, Advanced Technical Services. His main responsibilities include managing the CAD team, sales, scheduling and coordinating projects, drafting and design, as well as marketing and all IT functions.

Kyle Maxey is a mechanical designer and writer from Austin, TX. He earned a degree in Film at Bard College and has since studied Mechanical and Architectural drafting at Austin Community College. As a designer Kyle has had vast experience with CAD software and rapid prototyping. One day he dreams of becoming a toy designer.

Matthew Greenwood works for the Government of Ontario and has 17 years of experience in public sector communications. He has a master’s degree in Environmental Studies from York University.

Dr. Tom Lombardo is an engineer, a professor, a certified Professional Energy Manager, and an armchair philosopher. Tom teaches engineering, microcontrollers, and sustainable energy systems. In his spare time he makes somewhat recognizable sounds with an acoustic guitar.

Tom Spendlove is a mechanical engineer working in the education field in Flint, Michigan. He earned his undergraduate degree at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan and graduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic University in Troy, New York. After ten years of designing and developing automotive components he shifted focus to teaching engineering, design, and CAD.
