 Nanocoatings are based on supermolecular chemistry and deal with the synthesis and molecular handling of complex, high molecular aggregates. "Intelligent" molecules that literally organise themselves in order to create a tiered formation which in the case of Nanoproofed coatings will create a non-stick surface. In Nanoproofed coating systems, these molecules imitate the natural surface of a Lotus leaf which even glue can't find enough grip to stick to. Nanocoatings have a variety of applications including automotive, marine, and around the house. Things like waxes would be an example.
