How often should I change the thermal grease in my computer? View All
My computer is having the occassional overheating problem. From what I've read, it could just need some thermal compund grease. How often should I be changing the grease on the CPU?

Thermal grease should really only needed to be changed if you are installing a new chip or heatisink, or if you are making repairs and adjustments around the CPU or heatsink that requires you to remove the heatsink.
