The basic reason for inspection after an adverse weather event would be safety. Can you think of various safety issues that may occur to scaffolding after an adverse weather event?

Although you are in Malaysia the US OSHA is a good source for safety related information on scaffolding. Below is a link to information on scaffolding inspection rules in the USA.
